Cinema Revival: A Festival of Film Restoration

Cinema Revival returns February 24–28, 2022! We’re excited to bring this celebration of the art and practice of film restoration back for its eighth year. This in-person edition will feature visits from Margaret Bodde (Film Foundation), Lee Kline (Criterion Collection), and Tim Lanza (Cohen Film Collection). Plus, with works by Vittorio De Sica, Nina Menkes, Douglas Sirk, Oscar Micheaux, Mira Nair, Joan Micklin Silver, Sarah Maldoror, this year’s Cinema Revival is a must-see for anyone looking to learn more about the vital importance of restoring film history.
