High school teachers, don’t wait to sign up for the next edition of Pages, the Wexner Center’s innovative multidisciplinary program that supports literacy and writing skills through the exploration of contemporary art.

Pages pairs artists and Wex educators with teachers from across central Ohio in the planning of writing-based, experiential learning opportunities for students grades 9–12. Pages students visit the center to experience an exhibition, performance, and film and respond to those encounters in journal entries, prose, poetry, and art—with opportunities to showcase and publish their work.

The Pages curriculum fully engages and supports core state and national education standards, and bus subsidies are provided for all three trips to the Wex. Visit wexpagesonline.edublogs.org to see the program in action or view the most recent Pages anthology, a beautiful compilation of our participants’ writing and visual art.

Applications for the 2017–18 school year are due by April 14, 2017. Interested applicants also have the option of previewing the program while receiving professional development credit. For more information on Pages or the application process, contact Wexner Center educator Dionne Custer Edwards at dcusteredwards@wexarts.org or (614) 292-7008.

Pages is presented with major support from American Electric Power, the Ingram-White Castle Foundation, and the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.

Additional support is provided by Ohio Arts Council, Puffin Foundation West, Ltd., and Columbus Metropolitan Library.
