Empath's volatile mix of discordance and melodic pith finds its working method somewhere in the contrast between verdant vocals and guitar, boisterous rhythms, and clamorous synths. In this confluent wash of sound and sensibilities there's a core sensitivity in the way Empath connects and communicates—both among its members and with the audience.
