Unstoppable

“In terms of sheer craftsmanship, this is a superb film!”—Roger Ebert

In Unstoppable, a veteran railroad engineer (Denzel Washington) and young conductor (Chris Pine) team up to stop a massive runaway freight train before it crashes, killing thousands and creating an environmental disaster. Partially filmed on location in Ohio, it’s one of the great action films of the decade! (98 mins., 35mm)

All Wex Drive-In movies start at dusk (generally around 9 PM), but you’re invited to come at 8 PM to choose your spot. Pack up a few blankets or lawn chairs, and get ready to enjoy beer from Seventh Son Brewing, pizza from Mikey’s Late Night Slice, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Members, visit the Wex membership table for your free scoop and other perks.

In the event of rain, the films will screen in Mershon Auditorium at 9 PM. Heirloom Café is open until 8 PM if you want to grab a bite before heading outside.
