GenWex Presents

GenWex is the Wexner Center for the Arts young (and young at heart!) patrons’ initiative, working to fully engage Columbus’ creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Part social, part educational, GenWex hosts events throughout the course of the year like performing arts receptions, exclusive events with curators, artists’ talks, and one major fundraiser each spring, Off the Grid (OTG). Proceeds from Off the Grid and other GenWex events benefit the Wex’s educational programming.

GenWex (adj) /jinweks/ :

1: a person passionate about the Wex and learning about contemporary art through social activities

2: a person who likes to dance, eat great food, and support a good cause (see “Off the Grid”)

GenWex Advisory Committee

The GenWex Advisory Committee (GWAC) is made up of art-enthusiasts from the around community and Wex staffers. GWAC organizes and promotes GenWex events and initiatives that complement the programming developed by the Wex.
