Each year the Wexner Center presents Zoom, a family-friendly international film festival where young people can catch a glimpse of youth perspectives from all over the globe through movies not available at most theaters. School groups are invited to a special free school-day screening of select films from the festival. On December 5 we're screening Seasons (2016), recommended for grades 4–6, and December 6, The Idol (2015), recommended for grades 6–8, both at 9:30 AM.
School groups attending films receive learning materials that help students and teachers explore topics from the films and find out more about the countries from where the films originate. We also offer discussions with Wexner Center educators after some films. Bus subsidies are available.
Register your class here, or contact us at edweb@wexarts.org or (614) 292-6493.
