Winy Maas of the noted architecture/design firm MVRDV discusses his work in one of the Knowlton School of Architecture's winter quarter lectures.
An architect and urban planner, Maas founded MVRDV with Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 1991. The firm is among the innovative architects who have designed tea and coffee services for the Alessi company's current Tea and Coffee Towers project. Prototypes created through this project are on view at the Wexner Center Galleries at The Belmont Building from January 31 to May 2, 2004.
