WexLab: Video Shorts on Your Smart Phone Featuring Eric Homan

wex grid image fill

Ever wondered how those Instagram stars make their eye-catching videos? Award-winning media artist Eric Homan will share his tricks of the trade and extensive experience to help us make great short videos with what we’ve got—our smart phones. Set aside those nagging thoughts about needing special gear, sets, and actors, and learn to use the world around you to craft an effective project that is innovative, creative, self-expressive, and fun. Then submit your work to our 2017 Ohio Shorts competition right here: you never know, you may steal the show AND take home some nice prizes!

WexLab is free for students 12–18 and includes a free pizza lunch, snacks, and a tour of Carmen Herrera: Lines of Sight. Registration is required and space is limited. For more information about the day’s activities and to register, contact Jean Pitman at (614) 292-4614 or jpitman@wexarts.org.
