Murray Moss, founder of one of the SoHo store Moss, discusses his intriguing approach to retailing and design.

Murray Moss is the founder of one of the premier design showcases in New York: his SoHo store Moss, which presents exquisite furniture and merchandise in the atmosphere of a well-designed museum.

Credited with reconceiving the nature of retail, Moss presents products by visual theme as well as function, highlighting unique items such as Cindy Sherman's Wedgwood porcelain in gravity-and convention- defying arrangements.

Jeffrey Kipnis, cocurator of Mood River, joins Moss in conversation following the talk.
