With Jean Pitman, Kojo Kamau, and Kwodwo Ababio

Join us as we explore the Blues for Smoke exhibition through photography—both by taking our own images and by looking at works by such legends as Carrie Mae Weems and William Eggleston, featured in the show. Our session begins with lunch and a photography workshop at Linden’s New Harvest Café and Urban Arts Center and continues by bus to the Wexner Center, where we’ll tour Blues for Smoke with artists Kojo Kamau and Kwodwo Ababio and Wex educator Jean Pitman. The program concludes with a presentation of the day’s work.

Space is limited to 15 youth for this session, so be sure to reserve your seat using the Register button above. A bus ride from New Harvest to the Wex is provided, and a ride back to New Harvest is available. Lunch and snacks for youth are included. Scholarships for the workshop are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information contact Jean Pitman, educator for youth programs, at (614) 292-4614 or jpitman@wexarts.org.
