The creator of FOUND magazine and a sometimes storyteller on NPR's This American Life, Davy Rothbart visits the Wexner Center to share his favorite finds and sign copies of his new book, FOUND: The Best Lost, Tossed and Forgotten Items from Around the World. Ransom notes. To-do lists. Homework assignments. A break-up letter written on the back of an airsickness bag. Items like these give readers uncensored, poignant, and often hilarious peeks into other people's lives. Such finds are Davy Rothbart's stock-in-trade. The creator of FOUND magazine, and a sometimes storyteller on Ira Glass's NPR show This American Life, Rothbart is beginning to be found by broader audiences himself. He's put together a new book compilation of Found (Simon & Schuster) and appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Now, Rothbart is loading up the van with finds and coming to the Wexner Center as part of his idiosyncratic, cross-country tour, Slapdance Across America 2004. He'll share his favorite finds of all-time and accept submissions for future issues of the magazine. After the presentation, he'll sign magazines and the new FOUND collection in the bookshop.
