Baumer Symposium Meta Media, Hyper Culture

This year's Baumer Symposium focuses on the effects of technology on modern culture and its many artifacts.

The Meta Media, Hyper Culture symposium comprises three sessions: virtual culture introduces a variety of technology-derived cultural artifacts; digital fabrications investigates new methods of making afforded by emerging technologies; meta media looks at new methods of disseminating products of art and design. Among the speakers are Joep van Lieshout of Atelier van Lieshout, Kevin Lippert of Princeton Architectural Press, and Freddy Anzures of frog design.
