Public Registration Starts March 16

Registration for the Wexner Center’s popular Summer Kids workshops (for ages 6–14) and Teen Arts Fusion workshops (ages 15–18) begins March 2 for Wexner Center members and March 16 for the general public. Not your typical art camps, these innovative courses are led by talented, practicing artists from the university and community, including M.F.A. and Ph.D. grads and candidates in art, art education, art history, dance, theater, and architecture at Ohio State. Workshops include video gaming and animation, iMovie, graphic novels, mosaics, architectural models, improv comedy, Photoshop, theater, dance, fashion, and more. Click here for details on the Summer Kids workshops (held in July and August) and here for Teen Arts Fusion (held starting in June). All are weeklong (Monday through Friday), half-day workshops, and most fill up fast.

Advance registration for members at the Household membership level and above begins today. Public registration begins March 16. Registration fees for all workshops are $90 for the general public and $75 for Wexner Center members. As a special offer for those registering for summer workshops, the Wexner Center is offering a 10% savings off new or renewal memberships ($67.50) at the Household level.

A limited number of scholarships are available for families requiring financial assistance for the workshops.

The public can call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org for questions about the workshops.
