Call For Entries Deadline March 31 for Ohio Short Film & Video Showcase; Youth Division Also Planned

The Wexner Center is now accepting entries for the 11th annual Ohio Short Film & Video Showcase. The showcase provides Ohio’s independent media artists a chance to show their work in a theatrical setting before an audience. Last year’s capacity crowd witnessed 12 short works by artists from across the state. Deadline for entries is Friday, March 31. The Showcase is Saturday, May 13, 2006, at 7 pm at the Wexner Center.

General guidelines: Pieces must be independently produced, no longer than 20 minutes, and produced in Ohio within the last 18 months. Entries must be submitted on 1/2” VHS videotape, mini-DV, or DVD. Any format of film or video may be submitted. Only one entry per person. Works submitted to previous showcases will not be accepted.
