"Midlake is a band with a singular vision. You can hear that loud and clear on this gentle masterwork."-NPR on Midlake's The Courage of Others

With their recent release The Courage of Others, Texas’s Midlake are drawing further upon the traditions of venerated English folk-rock bands like Fairport Convention and Pentangle to inform their own atmospheric contemplative sound. This new album follows up on their acclaimed CD The Trials of Van Occupanther, an inspired set of pastoral psychedelic rock that found instant favor with fans of bands like Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, and Grizzly Bear.

Just added to the bill: Jason Lytle (of the late, great Grandaddy) brings his interstellar folk lullabies to our stage in a special opening set sure to pull from his new solo effort Yours Truly, The Commuter and Grandaddy faves.

Opening the evening is English singer/songwriter John Grant, who fast garnering praise for his tunes in the mold of Californian masters Randy Newman and Harry Nilsson.
