Black Box on Mershon Stage

"Filled with ambitious production and winsome nostalgia, it's an otherworldly chronicle of adolescence only a starry-eyed 20-something could make."– Blender

Saturdays=Youth--the latest release from M83, the nom de musique of French synth enthusiast Anthony Gonzalez and his various associates--proudly wears its 1980s' obsessions on its sleeve as it celebrates eternal summers and young love, as well as their afterglow. Gonzalez's fond and affectionate sonic remembrances lift off on layers of synths, stretching his range and featuring some of his best songs to date. M83 sold out their last show here, and their growing legion of fans will surely make this a hot ticket--so don't delay making plans for this summery Saturday date.
