Cathy Predmore

Head of Communications and Marketing

A transformational leader, Cathy (Cat) Predmore has over 30 years of experience in executive oversight, change management, brand strategy, marketing, media, communications, business development, and advancement. Before joining the Wexner Center, Cathy was senior vice president for the national communications company Fahlgren Mortine, where she was the primary marketing strategist and account architect for integrated, multichannel marketing and communications programs. Institutions whose marketing efforts she led included nonprofits, national museums and learning centers, and arts organizations where she amplified brands, grew membership, and increased visitation. Cathy has developed a state-focused marketing strategy to support economic development in Ohio, Idaho, and South Carolina. She understands the critical and complex relationships between educational institutions, community partners, and the arts and has a lifelong passion for supporting them. 

Cathy has built an outstanding reputation for being a creative and critical thinker with the highest standards of excellence. Her data-driven marketing and communications solutions have delivered results for global nonprofits like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where she generated awareness of the brand in the Midwest and inspired new levels of giving. Cathy has worked in higher education on branding, advancement, and enrollment marketing for colleges and universities nationwide. Her efforts in education include marketing and sales for leading international publisher and media company Pearson, national career education provider Lincoln Educational Services, and Chicago-based nonprofit education organization The Great Books Foundation. 

Cathy’s work in public relations, communications, and marketing has been recognized with multiple awards, including PRSA PRism Awards, Communicator Awards, and Best Brand Awards, among many others. She has been a board member of the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center and CATCO (now The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio). She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Montclair State University and studied Fine Art at Rutgers University.
