Getting Here--and What You'll Find

The Wexner Center is located on North High Street at the corner of 15th Avenue on the campus of The Ohio State University. See where we are and get directions here and in the links below. Find parking suggestions at right. Check this page for hours and other visitor information.

Want to know what's going on when you plan to visit? This web site is your guide to currently scheduled exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and public programs. The Calendar page gives you a comprehensive list of upcoming events.

A guided tour is an excellent way to get the most out of your visit. Walk-in Tours, for individual visitors and small groups (fewer than 10), are always free and require no reservations. They are listed in the calendar and on the Public Programs pages. The tours link takes you to complete information on scheduling a group tour.

Groups visiting the center on a self-guided basis are always welcome! If your group will be larger than 10 people, we ask that you call us least 3 weeks in advance to notify us of the date and time of your desired visit. Due to high levels of gallery traffic during the current exhibition, groups may be asked to consider an alternative date for their visit.

Tour Information

Parking

On campus, parking is available at the Ohio Union Garage, just south of the center, and at Arps Garage, about one block north of the center, which is generally open for visitor parking in the evening and on weekends. These are your closest options to the center.

Convenient parking for the Wexner Center is also available nearby at the South Campus Gateway garage, located one block east of North High Street between 9th and 11th Avenues. Parking at Gateway costs just $1 for three hours and is FREE for Wexner Center members (for up to three hours; please bring your parking ticket to the Patron Services Desk for validation).

Wheelchair-accessible parking is available in front of Mershon Auditorium and in both the Ohio Union and Arps Garages.

Very limited short-term parking at meters is also available in front of Mershon.

Bus Service

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) buses provide direct and easy access to the Wexner Center from downtown and other city and suburban neighborhoods. The #2 bus runs north and south on High Street and stops at 15th Avenue from each direction. COTA buses 18, 31, and 84 also stop at North High Street at 15th Avenue. You can plan your COTA trip to the Wexner Center (1871 N. High Street) here.

Ohio State's CABS (Campus Area Bus Service) program provides free bus transporation throughout the campus area and connects with several COTA routes. Follow the COTA and CABs web site links above for route details and connection suggestions.

Holidays

The Wexner Center is typically closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The building closes early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. In addition, Wexner Center offices are usually closed on the day after Thanksgiving, but the Wexner Center building and services generally remain open regular hours.
