Director's Dialogue to Focus on Women in the Art World
May 8, 2008
Mark your calendars for the Director's Dialogue on Art and Social Change on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 PM, an annual event that hones in on a specific topic in contemporary life through the lens of contemporary art. This year, a panel of prominent art critics and curators—the authors of the book After the Revolution: Women Who Transformed Contemporary Art—will join acclaimed artist Ann Hamilton (an Ohio State art professor and one of the artists featured in the book) for what's sure to be a vigorous and insightful discussion about the progress women have made in the art world and the pitfalls they still face. Admission is free. A public reception and book signing precedes this event at 6 PM.
