Heirloom starts serving September 12

We are pleased to announce a new operator and concept for our café: Heirloom. Set to open September 12, Heirloom will feature local and seasonal ingredients, creatively prepared, including breakfast dishes (served all day), soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and baked goods, plus fair-trade coffee from Stauf’s. Locally sourced ingredients will be used when possible at Heirloom, whose name refers to a type of vegetable with desirable qualities, maintained through propagation. Heirloom was conceived by John and Kimberly Skaggs, longtime members of the Columbus culinary community who also run the My Catered Table home-delivery service.

Heirloom hours will be 8 to 4 PM weekdays. Wexner Center members will receive a 10% discount, and BUCK ID for Ohio State students will be accepted. The café is also wi-fi.

With affordable prices and a variety of dishes (both vegetarian and non-), we expect Heirloom to be a destination for the university community and the broader community alike. We hope to see you here!
