O Brother, Where Art Thou is being presented as a free outdoor screening in our Wex Drive-In series. Come at 8 PM to claim your spot and get ready with drinks (cash bar), snacks, and free popcorn and Jeni's ice cream. The film begins at dusk.

The Coen brothers' Depression-era comedy led to a resurgence in the popularity of American folk music. Loosely based on Homer's Odyssey, the film follows three escaped convicts (George Clooney, Tim Blake Nelson, and John Turturro) as they try to retrieve a hidden fortune from a past heist. Songs include Alison Krauss's "Down to the River to Pray," Krauss and Gillian Welch's "I'll Fly Away," and Ralph Stanley's "O Death." (102 mins., 35mm)

Wexner Center members receive a commemorative Wex Drive-In mug and discounted drinks at each outdoor film. Not yet a member? If you join at any Wex Drive-In screening, you'll receive a film/video T-shirt and two additional film passes (a $34 value).

Please note: With storms predicted for this evening from 5 to 8 PM (exactly when we need to set up the outdoor screen), we've opted to move this film indoors to Mershon Auditorium. It will begin at 9 PM.
