Sacco and Vanzetti examines the famous story of two Italian immigrants and avowed anarchists who were accused (likely falsely) of robbery and murder during the “red scare” that followed World War I.

Blending archival elements, interviews, and dramatized readings, the documentary examines the mens’ lives and the hotly contested case that resulted in their executions in 1927. With John Turturro, Tony Shaloub, Howard Zinn, Arlo Guthrie, and Studs Terkel. (81 mins., video)
