Retrospective: Arnaud Desplechin

Arnaud Desplechin is an ambitious French filmmaker with remarkable range. Whether period drama, political whodunit, wry look at twenty-something love, or tragicomedy, his films are marked by characters desperately striving to communicate. For this U.S. retrospective (his first), Desplechin will introduce the area premiere of Kings and Queen.
