One of the most fondly remembered programs on American television, This Is Your Life presented tributes to hundreds of notable guests during its long run on NBC and later in syndication. Tonight we’re presenting a trio of episodes featuring three of baseball’s all-time greats: longtime New York Yankees manager Casey Stengel, Brooklyn Dodgers catcher Roy Campanella, who was paralyzed in a car accident not long before this program aired in 1958, and Negro Leagues legend Satchel Paige, a Negro Leagues legend and one-time Cleveland Indian.
