Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (and 100th anniversary of Technicolor) with a new digital restoration of this sparkling romantic adventure. Filmed in stunning locations across Ireland and England, Wings of the Morning follows a beautiful young girl who must marry a nobleman to fulfill the prophecy of her ancestors, but decides to defy her destiny after meeting a Canadian horse trainer (Henry Fonda). The film also provides a rare opportunity to see the legendary Irish tenor John McCormack. Wings of the Morning was the first British film to be shot in full Technicolor and remains one of the most spectacularly photographed early color films. (89 mins., DCP)
