Director Ayse Polat introduces her film about an unlikely yet touching relationship. In Tour Abroad, a middle-aged gay cabaret singer from Turkey is charged with caring for the 13-year-old daughter of a friend who has died. The pair travels throughout Europe in an attempt to locate the girl's mother, gradually adapting to each other city by city. (16mm, 91 mins.)
