Rare Films from the Baseball Hall of Fame

wex grid image fill

Celebrate the start of the baseball season with this selection of rare films from the Hall of Fame's archives. The movies have been around almost as long as professional baseball, leaving us with a rich visual history of our national pastime. With the generous cooperation of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, we have assembled a program of rare shorts and footage from the Hall of Fame's vaults that will appeal to cinephiles and baseball fans alike.

Included in the program is footage from a 1945 Look magazine photo shoot intended to announce Jackie Robinson's signing with the Dodgers, the earliest known baseball footage shot by the Edison company in 1898, rare historical clips of both the Cleveland and Cincinnati nine, and much, much more. (Program approx. 100 mins.)

Special thanks to Jeremy Jones, National Baseball Hall of Fame.
