As an unofficial rejoinder to the American Film Institute's "Best List" series, a panel of local film critics discuss the risky moments, subversive scenes, and unhappy endings often left out of official histories of Hollywood cinema. Moderated by Associate Curator Dave Filipi, a panel that includes Frank Gabrenya (Columbus Dispatch), Johnny DiLoretto (The Other Paper), Melissa Starker (Columbus Alive), John DeSando (WCBE), and Clay Lowe (WCBE) go head-to-head over their personal choices for the most pivotal, anomalous, and transgressive moments in popular American film. Clips augment tonght's dialogue, and the audience is encouraged to freely participate in the conversation.
