Join us for a screening of Hootenanny Hoot, then stick around for a free outdoor party and screening of Monster on the Campus. Featuring performances by Johnny Cash, Judy Henske, and Sheb Wooley, Hootenanny Hoot follows a slick New York TV producer who tries to cash in on the folk music "hootenanny" craze sweeping the country. (91 mins., 16mm)

After Hoot, the 12 1/4 Circle invites you to a festive outdoor party with complimentary snacks and cash bar by Barley's Brewing Company beginning a 8:30 pm. Stick around for a free outdoor screening of Monster on the Campus on the Wexner Center plaza at sundown. The Wexner Center Plaza is in front of the center at 15th Avenue and High Street. The rain location for the party and screening is the center's café and Film/Video Theater.

Directed by Jack Arnold of Creature from the Black Lagoon fame, Monster on the Campus features a college professor who turns into murderous caveman after experimenting on a fish presumed to be extinct. (77 mins., 35mm)

Campus Hop
The party and outdoor screening are anchor events in the first Campus Hop, all along High Street in the University District. This outdoor event also features street musicians and other performers, merchants open late, discounts in Gateway restaurants, free ice cream, and more.
