The Last Waltz records the last performance by the Band, filmed at San Francisco's legendary Winterland concert hall on Thanksgiving 1976. The film also showcases appearances by Bob Dylan, Ronnie Hawkins, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, the Staple Singers, and Emmylou Harris. (Martin Scorsese, 1978; 117 mins.)
