Dig!

Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Sundance Film Festival, Dig! follows the disparate career arcs of Anton Newcombe, leader of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Courtney Taylor of The Dandy Warhols. Culled from footage shot over seven years, the film examines the choices the two friends and eventual rivals make between art and industry. Taylor learns to navigate the corporate music world, while Newcombe destroys any hope of financial success through his steadfast refusal to compromise his personal vision. (105 mins.)
