The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

(Nathan Juran, 1958)

4K Restoration

Cyclops

Before the world was obsessed with Game of Thrones, fans of mythical creatures were swept away by the art of Ray Harryhausen. His hand-crafted, stop-motion-animated cyclops, sword-fighting skeleton, and fire-breathing dragon are the true stars of the Technicolor fantasy The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. After a ruthless sorcerer shrinks his bride-to-be, the hero must retrieve a magic lamp from a faraway island (full of said monsters) in order to restore her to full size. With a score by Bernard Herrmann. (87 mins., 4K DCP)

Restored in 4K from the original camera negative by Sony Pictures.
