Raul Cordero was born in 1971 in Havana, Cuba, where he lives and works. A painter, photographer, video artist, and DJ, Cordero has exhibited his work throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America at venues including the 2000 Havana Biennial, Cornell University, the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, and the Iturralde Gallery in Los Angeles. Since 1994 he has taught new media at the Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana (ISA).
