Allora y Calzadilla are two artists who work collaboratively and are now based in New York and Puerto Rico: Jennifer Allora, who was born in Philadelphia in 1974 and Guillermo Calzadilla, who was born in 1971 in Havana, Cuba. Their collaborative work has been exhibited at venues including the 1998 São Paulo Biennial in Brazil; 2000 Havana Biennial in Cuba; 2002 Bienal Iberoamericana in Lima, Peru; El Museo del Barrio in New York City; and the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Connecticut.
