About Education Programs at the Wex

The Wexner Center's Department of Learning & Public Practice offers a wide array of free programs throughout central Ohio, across Ohio State's Columbus campus, and online at wexarts.org. Whether we're collaborating with artists, exploring possibilities with local partners, working alongside faculty and students, or expanding curricula with K–12 educators and students, we create and shape educational experiences and connect with our community

Our programs explore the nature of creativity through encounters designed to develop deeper understanding of ourselves and our worlds. Audiences of all ages can participate in experiences that encourage connectedness and enrich daily life through contemporary art and culture. Throughout the year we offer dozens of free workshops, gallery experiences, author readings, film screenings, artist talks, panel discussions, and courses taught by Wex staff—plus free learning guides, a range of internships, and more.
