Designed by Chicago-based design collective SIMPARCH and part of the Mood River exhibition, Free Basin is a working skateboard basin located in Gallery D.
Free Basin is open free to skateboarders during normal gallery hours (Tue-Wed, Fri-Sat, 10 am-6 pm; Thu 10 am-9 pm; Sun 12-6 pm) and into the night on selected Thursday and Saturday evenings through April 14.
Note: From time to time, Free Basin will be closed to skateboarders due to other center activities. Updates will be posted as they become available.
