A Zoom favorite comes to Criterion

Fans of Zoom and our Rare Baseball Films program have reason to rejoice!

Not only are the good people at Criterion prepping a freshly restored release of Speedy, the Harold Lloyd classic and 2012 Zoom hit, the disc will include a selection of archival footage of Babe Ruth culled by our own Director of Film/Video Dave Filipi from the UCLA Film and Television Archive’s Hearst Newsreel Collection. The footage is a lovely complement to Speedy’s spectacular cameo by the Bambino himself and is manna for baseball and film fans. Speedy hits shelves (including the Wexner Center Store’s) on December 8.
