Audience in a theater

Earlier this month, we launched our winter exhibitions with a conversation between artist Sarah Oppenheimer and professor of architectural theory Laurent Stalder about Sarah's new, site-responsive work S-337473, created with support from a two-year Wexner Center Artist Residency Award and the assistance of Ohio State's Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In case you weren't part of the full house that day in the Film/Video Theater, or the spillover crowd in the Performance Space, check out video of the talk below, which covers topics ranging from the mechanics of her moving, interactive work to the challenges of addressing the unique, grid-laden architecture of Peter Eisenman's building. For future reference, you can find archived talks by visiting artists and curators at the Wex on our YouTube channel.
