"A psychedelic wonderland filled with life-affirming warmth."--Tiny Mix Tapes

Brooklyn's Animal Collective are front and center in the freak folk fold with fascinating releases and performances that showcase their deliciously skewed songs, off-kilter tribal throb, and leftfield pop sensibilities. PopMatters describes the Animal Collective experience as "a highly rewarding journey into pop music's most primal, earthy, esoteric and ultimately beautiful places." Who could ask for more than that? They packed the place on their last visit here, and we fully expect fans to be equally enthused about their latest moves.

Sir Richard Bishop (of Sun City Girls) opens with a solo guitar set featuring his ecstatic Indian raga-meets-Django Reinhardt-meets-John Fahey approach.

Animal Collective will be at the Wexner Center Store starting at 8 PM to sign copies of their albums!
