Jeffrey Byars

Director of Development

Jeffrey Byars has been leading the development department of the Wexner Center since 2003 (and joined the department in 1999), guiding a team in fundraising and membership efforts. He has worked with a wide array of funding sources, helping the center to secure support from local, national, and international corporations, foundations, and government agencies. Prior to joining the Wexner Center, Byars worked at the Museum of the Chicago Academy of Sciences and The Ohio State University College of Education. He is a former fellow with the Jefferson Center’s Next Generation of Leaders program for arts professionals, and a former member of the board of the Worthington Arts Council.
